Here I am, sitting inside Honor Harrington, with my boyish new haircut.
My hairdresser BTW gives really great shampoo. If he wasn't gay and half my age, I'd marry him.
Here I am in yesterday's church hat.
I'm standing in front of my fireplace, and the pottery on the mantelpiece is part of my collection of vintage McCoy pottery. I collect mostly the white, although I have a few colored pieces.
And this is privet.
I have had two privet bushes come up wild in my yard. I was charmed, at first, because they're pretty, and they smell nice. But then I learned that privet is a non-native, invasive species, so the privet's got to go.

So few people ever let privet bloom. It's really pretty. I remember planting 27 privet bushes around the front yard of a house. They were called "Texas Privet," but I guess that has nothing to do with where they are originally from.
Love the hat and the haircut. You are one of the few people who can wear that blue as well!
McCoy pottery! There used to be store here that had loads of art pottery. I really miss it. Since the real estate rents went up, so many small antique and vintage stores were forced out. Now there are bars and hair salons!
I love the white McCoy. If I hadn't taken my Vow of Frugality, I'd probably be looking around for some more. I like how it looks in the summer, all pale and cool.
Love the haircut and the hat. Looking lovely, Miss Min.
Thank you, dahling. :-)
