Yesterday's Church Hat

The body of this hat was made in Italy, the crown is white rabbit fur, and the brim is black fur felt. I bought this one on Ebay a couple or three months ago, and this was the first time that I had worn it.

I have a dilemma, as the result of changing my mind about my Easter ensemble. I have several spring hats that I've never worn in my collection, and several purses that I have never carried, and several brooches that I have never pinned to a lapel. A couple or four years ago, I started to select never-worn or seldom-worn pieces from my collection of accessories and build an Easter ensemble around them. The first year, it was a beautiful set of vintage silver jewelry that Mike gave me, the next year, it was a fabulous Mr. John vintage pale blue turban, the year after that, it was a pink/red/white hat that I bought at Lilliput Hats in Toronto, and last year, it was a vintage Italian clutch with pink and blue butterflies on it.

So this year, I am going to let my flist help me decide. I will select and post pictures of several items from my collection and then run a poll to determine which one should form the basic building block of my Easter ensemble. I hope everyone will play.
