Last Sunday was royal blue. Yesterday was navy blue. The hat is a "vintage" (more or less) Christine Original that I bought on Ebay (of course).
Worn with a navy suit, dark blue high-heeled sandals (those were a mistake), vintage navy purse, and a vintage green enameled flower pin that I got from my mother.

Drat, I want to see the crown detail!
Do you ever wear your wide brimmed hats low over one eye, pushing your bangs aside? I used to have bangs and always felt like I had to place my hats behind the bangs. Sometimes I miss the option of with or without the bangs.
There's a three-looped flat bow on the crown. I'll try to get a pic.
And I don't wear my hats tilted down in the front, because my brow is so low that the hat band ends up resting on or just above my eyebrow, which aggravates me to death.
when you get a hat with a veil do you keep the veil on?
and do you wear gloves too?
I only wear gloves in the cold weather (but I have many pairs of leather gloves in a rainbow of colors) and when I ring handbells. :-)
As for a veil, I don't often wear veiled hats, because I don't like wearing a hat low on my forehead. I have been known to remove veils for that very reason.
